I came to DIFE as an early school leaver who knew that I loved Art but didn’t really know what I could do with it. It was the one thing I was actually good at but didn’t have the Leaving Cert to secure my progression into 3rd Level.  DIFE provided me with structure and guidance and direction and I secured a full Award with all distinctions in my end of year assessments. I was offered college places from every college that I applied to with my portfolio and I decided to go to NCAD to study Illustration. I also secured a Scholarship for the duration of my degree with the help of Joanne. I can’t thank DIFE enough for the support they gave me during my time there.
