Award:
QQI Level 6 Certificate in Health Services Supervisory Management Skills.
Aim:
This QQI Level 6 course offers holders of a QQI Level 5 Health related award (e.g. Level 5 Healthcare Support or Nursing Studies) the opportunity to undertake further studies in the area. This award will equip the learner with the necessary knowledge, skills and competence to undertake supervisory roles in the caring environment.
Entry Requirements:
QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support, Nursing Studies, Applied Social Studies or other Level 5 Health Care related awards.
Progression & Career Options:
Graduates who successfully complete this course will be provided with enhanced opportunities for progression into healthcare related employment. The skills developed on this programme will allow graduates to apply for promotion to administration or management positions in the caring and or healthcare professions. Graduates of this course are also eligible to apply through the Higher Education Links Scheme for entry to a range of Higher Certificate and Degree programmes at Institutes of Technology and Universities.
