Aim:
This course offers a broad business focus on the Tourism industry in Ireland and abroad with a view to progressing to Further Education or employment. Students will gain experience in a Tourism related business by completing a work placement during the course.
Progression & Career Options:
Graduates from this course will have acquired a nationally recognised qualification which will enable them to compete for apprenticeship or employment in the carpentry, joinery and kitchen manufacturing industries.Graduates may also apply to a range of Degree courses in Institutes of Technology such as:

QQI Certificate in Tourism with Business. This course also provides Industry Standard Qualification (IAOT).
Aim:
This course aims to give students a detailed understanding of the Tourism Industry in Ireland. It provides learners with the necessary skills to work as cabin crew and passenger service agents, including the use of industry specific IT applications e.g Amadeus. Students will gain experience in a Tourism related business by completing a work placement during the course.
Progression & Career Options:
Former students of this course are now working with leading airline companies as ground staff, cabin crew and in other Travel and Tourism related areas. Students may progress within DIFE to a QQI Level 6 or to third level colleges:
